The Sterling Avenue Home Decor Subscription Box

We are a home and decor store with a physical storefront located in Salem, Illinois. We also have an online shop and offer a subscription box full of high-quality, hand-picked items just for you!

Remember when you would pay for a magazine or newspaper subscription and it showed up at your doorstep periodically, that’s what the Sterling Avenue Home Decor Box will do! It is a bi-monthly subscription which means you will be charged and receive a new box of 5-7 items every other month.

The Sterling Avenue Home Decor Box specializes in table top decor pieces that complement each other and also work well alone. Think coffee table, dining table, or entry table decor and you know what’s coming in a box. Each box will also have items that will work well with past box items so you’ll have new decor to add in six times per year.

Our items can work well with many different styles and designs. We will work with a neutral color scheme so our items will fit perfectly with your current decor. The boxes will be general home decor items that can be used throughout the year, regardless of the season.

There will be 5-7 hand-picked, high quality general home decor pieces. We will always start with a base item, something that could be filled or have items sit on. The second item we will choose is some type of greenery or floral. The rest of the items will be small to larger items to fill in the spaces. These items will look great together, individually, or with other decor items you already have throughout your home. A style guide will also be included to help you decorate!

Part of the fun of coming home and seeing a box on the doorstep is the excitement of opening it to see what’s inside! It’s like your birthday or Christmas morning! So… the items inside The Sterling Avenue Home Decor Box will be a surprise.

We have two options: bi-monthly and annual. A bi-monthly subscriber pays $125 per box. An annual subscriber pays one-payment of $625 per year. With an annual subscription, you’re getting the six bi-monthly boxes for the price of five! Both subscriptions get free shipping as well.

In addition to the box of 5-7 items and the style guide, subscribers receive:

We strive to give the best customer service and provide the most unique and beautiful items to decorate your table tops. Our items are carefully hand-picked specifically for our customers. Sterling Avenue is a family run small business that wanted to bring high-quality items to our small hometown. We know you have other choices out there and we respect that. 

We will ship every other month beginning in July 2024.

Shipping dates will be approximately 7/5, 9/5, 11/5, 1/5, 3/5, 5/5.

You will be charged by the 15th of the month before shipping.

There will be six general boxes available within one year. You will continue to receive a box every other month until you cancel your subscription. As a subscriber, you will also have the opportunity to purchase add-on boxes six times a year.

Add-on boxes will contain 3-4 holiday items for an upcoming holiday season. They will be available each time a general box is sent out.

If you are a subscriber of the bi-monthly box, you will have the opportunity to purchase the limited add-on holiday box for that month. They will only be available while supplies last.

You will receive an email announcing what the theme is along with other details about the box so you will know when it is available.

We won’t be able to offer returns on the boxes or individual items. If there happens to be something you don’t like in the box, you can gift it to a friend or family member! Shopping for the next birthday or housewarming party is done!

We will send out a replacement (if available) or issue store credit. Simply email [email protected] with photos of the damaged item(s) and the box and we will work to make it right.

We know things come up and you might have a need to pause or skip a month. You are allowed to skip one box per calendar year without any changes to your subscription price. You can skip again, however when your subscription renews, it will be renewed at the current updated price.

You will receive an email reminder when it’s time for the renewal (bi-monthly or annual). You can then email us at [email protected] to pause/skip the month. Your subscription will automatically resume as normal for the next box.
